DIY Tow Kit – Leading Edge:
Swimming Pool cover leading edge kits or tow kits are used to pull the cover onto the pool. The Evolution Pools’ DIY option provides you with the parts necessary to create a leading edge to your pool’s solar or heat retention cover.
A netted sleeve is fixed to the cover with plastic press fix studs. This product is very simple to fit and usually takes around 20 minutes to apply to a straight-edge cover.
Why Use A Leading Edge?:
Fitting a leading edge to a reel-operated pool cover makes operation by a single user simple. If no leading edge is fitted, the far side of the pool cover to the user often folds under itself meaning wet arms to fish it out! A leading edge kit also distributes the pulling force evenly across the front edge of the cover which will extend the life of your solar or heat retention cover.
