Walu pool covers - a highly flexible range of pool covers which replace the requirement for a separate solar cover, reel and winter cover.

Walu pool covers are the only pool cover system with interchangeable panels and support poles. Installation is quick and easy and the light weight materials combined with a geared crank handle makes operation of the cover trouble-free.

The Walu cover omits the requirement for a separate solar cover, reel & winter debris cover meaning the additional cost is very low for new build projects or customers looking to replace their existing covers. The Walu comes in to types/models; the Evolution and Starlight model.

Manufactured to French standard NF P 90-308, the Walu has a maximum weight capacity of 100kg (approx 15.5 stones/ 220lbs) and is extremely easy to install and operate.

Unlike other safety covers the Walu has some quite unique features

Fabric options

Special features: WALU POOL is available in two versions:

- Opaque: Shuts out light so slowing down the growth of algae and pathogenic micro-organisms and reducing considerably the use of chemicals.
- Solar: During the day, it captures solar energy to keep your pool heated throughout the summer, which represents an appreciable energy saving.

Both the Opaque and Solar versions of WALU POOL trap an insulating air blanket which helps avoid heat losses during the night, so you can use your pool for longer.

Sizing

Covers are made 0.4m (approx 16") larger than the pool size on length and width. Please ensure these additions are made when pricing.

Things to know

For pool sizes over 50m2 the cover will require two person operation and two crank handles will be supplied within the cover price. Cover weight is 1.25kg per m2. Off loading assistance may be required for some deliveries.

A sister product to our successful Walu Safety Cover, the Woodstar is specifically designed to offer the same level of safety (conforms to French standard NF P 90-308) and simplicity for above ground pools.

Secured with ratchets on pre-angled brackets and rolled with a convenient hand-wheel, the Woodstar is easy to install and operate. Available in a range of colours, the Woodstar removes the need for any other cover or roller system on your above ground pool, and to make it that perfect fit, cut outs for ladder entry points, filtration systems and counter current devices can be included.
