The Sacrificial Anode can be used to protect stainless steel ladders from attack by electrolysis, something which is particularly useful on Salt Chlorinated Pools.
If you have a salt chlorinator or are considering one although you have a stainless steel ladder you will require a Sacrificial Anode. This product fits onto your ladder (as shown in the picture) and protects the ladder from attack of electrolysis and will keep your ladder working at it's best for the longest possible time.
Evolution Pools have installed many Salt Chlorinators, as standard we advise the installation of a Sacrificial Anode or two dependent upon the size of your pool, During our many searches on You tube we stumbled upon this very interesting and reasonably well explained stray current explanation and re-enforcing the requirement for sacrificial anodes. So if you have had a Salt system installed recently and have experienced issues with precipitating calcium or attack on stainless fittings, then this could be the simple answer and remedy.
